The physics game Boneworks which was released in December surpassed 100.000 users in the first week. Without any strong marketing this estimated $3M in revenue.
We all knew Boneworks would be rather popular amongst VR users to obtain. Their demos showed off some great use cases of there physics engine. Where a lot of real-world physics translated in the VR world. Where you could basically touch anything you see and objects would interact with each other just like in the real world.
The launch was so successful in relation to other games on Steam that the title ranked itself into the highest tier of Steams ‘Best of 2019 Virtual Reality’ ranking. Which is more than impressive because it outpaced Beat Saber in this regard.
